The month of July is far more festive for my family and I than the Holiday months of October-January. Besides the American Holiday of July 4th, this month is filled with significant dates. July is my favorite month out of the whole year.
Timeline
July 11 : Queen Neferdede Day established in the yer 2015 ! My Birthday comes once a year and I take it very serious. God brought me through another year alive and well, for that reason I give thanks and celebrate my life! This year my lover made this day very special and I appreciate him for all he did to make me happy.
July 17 : The "Wombman" herself, my mother took her first breath on this day. She also said "I Do" to the union-ship with my father. I cannot wait to spoil my mother with everything she deserves and more. Many little girls fall under the wings of their father. I am a proud "Mommy's Girl." The reason why I believe in things I do today and why I am pro-women, pro-womanism, and sisterhood is because of my mother "St. Cecelia."
July 26: This marks the day my home country of Liberia, West Africa won Independence in 1847. I am a proud Liberian and embrace my heritage greatly despite my birthplace being in America.
This day also marks the birth of the youngest member of the Dossen clan. My baby sister Angel, gets to celebrate her birthday along with our country Liberia. Two turn-ups in one day.
Oh July how I love you dearly. You come too late and leave too soon. Until next year we shall meet again.
