While in Texas I got the opportunity to meet photographer Kai Dunna. He is also the founder of @Freedom54US clothing brand. In which they sell various graphic tees that shows not only representation for Liberia, but how we are all proud Africans. I'm always representing Africa, even if I was born here, Africa is home. What better way to showcase how I "Serve Style Through Representation." Catch a glimpse of look one of me styling this dope graphic t-shirt.

One can never go wrong with an all black look. This can easily be a day look and transition to the night. Even though it's cold in NJ, yesterday was a call to action to bring out my newest addition to the StylistaInMind wardrobe. Black is so flattering. It gives off the illusion that I am slimmer than what I am normally. But I have lost a few pounds in the past months due to stress, but this look is by far simplistic and chic. The shoes I am wearing were purchased on sale at Willow Brook Mall in Houston, Texas. They resembled my old Zara gold sandals that I used to wear a lot. However I purchased these babies for thirteen ninety nine. A steal it was, so many looks to style with those shoes. When I tell you their ForeverTwentyOne is so different from here, it really is. The workers were gorgeous, faces beat, hair laid and nice southern hospitality. The store was massive. Everything was clean and merchandised well. Unlike here where the mannequins look like they are trying too hard to be trendy. Being that I am a shoe fanatic, the first area I went was the shoe section. Yellow mules, military lace up heeled boots, thigh highs. Ugh too much of a shoe heaven. I went into the Zara as well and it was a breath of fresh air. They opened up one month ago and it is definitely a new concept store. The new uniforms were European enough to inform customers how "chic" they are. Collections  designer inspired at an affordable cost, the floors were clean, well kept and polished. I was like so when we moving to Texas. The mall had a weird vibe though, it's like they could sense we weren't from Texas. Anyhow my time there was amazing

The best way to style any look, is to find a balance. I always style from sole to crown, because the shoe is the foundation. However if I know the look on top it;s normally easy for me to pair any show to go with that look. Stay tuned for the next look, because you get a glimpse of what I mean. The shoes I wear tell a story, that bring the entire look together. The vibe I was going for with this look, was a street chic, grunge tone. Not too fussy, but edgy enough to captivate that street ambiance. Polished enough to be wearable and not messy. As my style evolves I am getting better at putting themes to all of my looks and define my style more and more. A little edge never hurts. These days I am missing my undercut. That would've made this look super hardcore. However this natural flow, gives me soft, rock, glam. That I can't get enough of. I am thinking about going red. Hopefully I don't scare myself too much and talk myself out of doing it. I'm experimenting and getting a bit more fearless.

Overall, this t-shirt looks good with almost everything in my closet. However I found myself sticking to darker colors rather than bright colors. Only one of my looks feature color. The rest include navy and black. Be sure to check out their website and instagram as well. Hit KaiDunna up if you're seeking a photographer for events or personal shoots.
