Mother Nature

Past Tense: On the second day of my birth month, mother nature paid me a visit. She didn't call before coming or warn me before showing up. I am sitting here on the third day holding my stomach at my desk waiting for mother nature to leave. Her visits are well appreciated but unexpected always. Yet I felt her nearing. Each day prior to her visit was filled with rage and fury. I am one to be extremely emotional yet it's the high and the lows of my moods. I cannot wait to say good-bye to mother nature and enjoy my birthday. I will be twenty two in just eight days from today. It will probably be a week from the post date. However here are some ways I enjoy mother nature's company.

I welcome her with open arms with these sevEral tips

  1. Drinking gallons of water is my ultimate cure and remedy. Everyone has their ways and heres mine, it may or may not work in your favor.
  2. Excercise. I am not always active but light excercise gets me through the days even working out with mother nature is fun.
  3. Heating pads. Purchase two boxes or more if you'd like from the dollar tree and wear one every four to eight hours.
  4. No pain medication. I don't take pills anymore for these cramps she brings me as if they are crystal stones she enjoys gifting to me.
  5. Fruits are the cure to life. If you're craving sweets, rack up on some fruits. Make fruit bowls for the week. Pineapples, grapes, and oranges do the job along with bananas with peanut butter from time to time.
  6. Sleep, get some rest. When you're asleep the thought of pain can't cross your mind.
  7. Get up, get dressed, slay and repeat these steps. I hate wearing sweats and looking like the situation I am going through anyways. Therefore I encourage you all no matter the storm or the weather please let your inner glow shine through like a normal day even if Mother Nature didn't come to visit. When you look fabulous the thought of excuciating, "my uterus is shedding" is out the windo with every boom kat step. Lol
