Seek & Ye Shall Find, This is 25

It’s been almost 1 year since I wrote a blog post on my personal website. These days blogging and posting on social media is “just for fun.” As I write this filled with unspeakable joy, I celebrated my 25th birthday amidst an ongoing pandemic. 5 years go I was unemployed, figuring life out and trying to get back into school. 5 years later I am in my last semester of undergrad, my future career and academic plans are far more clear now. By the grace of God I will obtain my Bachelor of Science degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion Business Management at the age of 25. Over the last 2 years I have set up websites for myself and a few clients in which has sparked the interest for me to pursue a career in UX/UI Design. Having a discussion with Asia Phillips (InTechSheTrust.com) and joining Baddies in Tech was the best decision ever in 2020.

“Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

It is not my dream nor desire to become famous, but it is my purpose, my passion and duty to make sure my family is financially free while cultivating generational wealth. I can care less about the glamorous life because everything that glitters is not gold. My family and I are deserving of everything and more, I am determined to making it happen for us.

2020 has been the spiritual awakening and transnational shift many of us needed. Finding myself all over again has been the most rewarding feeling and I cannot thank God enough!
