Sienna-In the brown familyEverything is Bronzed in my lifetime Brick Walls Hardwood Floors. Marble Counters. High Ceilings. Fire place with the same touch of the exposed brick wall. Black and Gold Accents with a hint of cream. I'm building what will be a dream that will soon turn into a reality. I mean, I envision myself having my own palace. A stylish home, minimal, with an Afrocentric vibe but still Contemporary.
I'm always in daze, thinking about my own place.
A recycled home. Just like fashion, where trends return over and over. The beauty of fashion is being able to reuse, and recycle pieces from prior years that serve no purpose in a Stylistas closet. Many recyclable items can make an appearance on that garment rack again. Ask me how dreaming about my own place and recycling fashion connects. The answer is they don't unless you're are creating a sustainable home and want to get into the topic of saving the earth by not throwing away old garments. However the two topics equally come to mind when I go through this photo series.
StylistaInMind is slowly but surely coming to life. I kind of just jumped into this Blogging scene with zero direction. I wanted to start from at least some where, rather than regretting not creating my blog this year. My blog is nothing compared to the blogging experts. I know I have many tools missing and delivering great, quality content in a timely fashion is number one. I'm planning on going nowhere but upward from here on out. Way Up!
