Moto Tags Along Part Deux

It seems as though wherever I go, my moto jacket won't give me space. I said let's take a break, somehow it finds its way back into my life.  We have serious withdrawals without one another. This is a true relationship a Stylista has with her favorite outerwear.

MOTO TAGS ALONG PART DEUX (2)

Yes, I have cellulite, yes I have dimples. I am learning just as every young, curvaceous woman should to accept them. I am glad my photographer captured a close-up of this shot. I was debating whether or not I should include it. However now I am like fuck it! I love me! If you don't like it that's your problem not mine.

Ever since I laid eyes on that skirt in my store I new I had to purchase it. It took me a while before I could make this purchase. I thought to myself, "Is it really worth it to buy a skirt I cant even wear as a skirt?"

I couldn't wear it as a skirt, so I turned it into a shirt.  Being that I do have hips and thighs, with one stride the skirt will rise to the sky and everyone will shout, "Oh My." (I would be super uncomfortable)

Here, I take this Zara skater skirt and turned it into a tube top. Paired with Forever 21 Plus-Size Flares. Confidential: Between you and I, Forever 21 Plus, ticket some of their items higher than the "regular" Forever 21 size price points, even if it's the same item. Par example, I wanted a pair of complimenting flare trousers. I found the $17.90 ones that goes up to a size large. Sadly, those did not fit.  Size twelve and up is considered plus size in Forever 21 and I needed an XL being that I wear a size fourteen (accommodating my curves). I paid $22.90 for the same exact pants in "plus," that was also in"regular" F21 women's. For the reason being that we require more fabric, we "plus" women have to pay extra for it too. It's a shame. The pants are identical in color variations and fabric, yet because I have more junk in the trunk F21 wants me to pay $5.00 more. I did it anyway, however I still don't think it is fair.

Gar-meants are meant for every shape and size. Clothing should not be exclusive to certain sizes. Designers create gar-meants for the consumer. We are all consumers even if my size is larger than a size two. What gives you the right to say I cannot consume a gar-meant that was meant for women? I am a woman, who loves fashion. I am here for the retailers and designers who create "gar-meants," meant for ALL SIZES. You say it's for business reasons, I say that's wrong. I am healthy and curvy, I love my body and will style it out in gar-meants, meant for the Queen Neferdede.

Any Thoughts?

What do you guys think? Should Forever21 lower the price of the trousers in the plus section? Is it wrong that this well known, fashion retailer price curvy women's items higher? Is this an ethical issue? Discrimination? Is this just how business works? Am I analyzing this situation too much? Now that I think about it, I believe other companies I love do the same thing. Hmmmm..... perhaps this could spark up a topic for a new post. (Retailers that carry "Plus-Size" Collection's Charge More For Goods).  BTW i dislike the term "Plus-Size."

EMBRACE YOUR CURVES LADIES, DON'T ALLOW THEM TO TELL YOU, YOU ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL.
