Moto Tags Along Pt.1
Bonjour Stylistas,
Autumn is in full effect. For some reason Mother Nature wants to play games with us human beings. One minute I am freezing and get hit with the sniffles. The next I find myself exiting my school campus with my shirt wrapped around my waist. Like pick one. Either hot or cold. With the weather being super iffy, I cant choose whether to whip out a Parka, keep wearing my poncho (aka blanket), or style out in my biker jacket. For those who know me it is obvious which option I chose.
Moreover, I recently made the world's greatest purchase. I bought myself a red, faux leather jacket from Buffalo Exchange in NYC. I made everyone guess the retail price every time they asked me where I got it from. Can you guess it? Well, I'm just going to shout it out, retail price for nine bucks!!! Yup, that's right not ten dollars but nine USD!!! The excitement I felt was unreal. To the point I wore it two weeks straight with almost everything. Then bae said it was time to retire my jacket. All laughs, in actuality it was time to hang up my rouge jacket and get myself a noir moto jacket.
Here is my first look of this Biker Jacket that won't leave me alone. Everywhere I go it wants to tag along. Perhaps I like the company of this jacket. Especially when it keeps me warm on the train during my daily commutes.
I would like to take the time to say thank you to my amazing hairstylists over at Plush Stylz Beauty Salon located in Matawan, NJ. These phenomenal women helped me achieve my desired look.
The biker jacket is used as an accessory in this look to tone it down a bit. In addition to giving this look an edgier vibe. My obsession with harem pants is outrageous. I own three harem pants, all from the Indian culture/fashion. This is an accessible item that I can just style various ways. Harem trousers are comfortable to wear. I love feeling the breeze as these trousers flow in the wind. I feel like an "Easy breezy, beautiful, Covergirl." From lounge-wear to evening wear. It has to be done properly in order for it to be worn at night.
Overall, this is my go to look if I want to throw in some culture into an outfit. I may utilize a look like this one if I am too lazy to get all dolled up. Try it out. Get some harem trousers and style it with a crop top, or your boyfriend's t-shirt and layer it with again, your boyfriend's blazer. Have fun styling ladies and gents. Thanks for tuning in.
