Sunday Funday Super Bowl 50 Looks: Denver Broncos Inspired
February 7th 2016 marks the first Sunday of February. In which all American football lovers know that it is Super Bowl Sunday. Those who celebrate Sunday Funday every Sunday, this is just another day to celebrate more while indulging on booze, good eats & treats, in sight of corny Super Bowl commercials.
I personally pay no attention to sports. I am like a blacksheep to those around me because everyone loves sports. Yeah not my cup of tea. I prefer art, music, and of course style. Being that the Denver Broncos are in this year's Super Bowl I thought it would be nice to feature their varsity jacket in this post.
Story time: The number one trending outerwear this year, is the bomber. Bomber season has slowly died out being that we have been introduced to the colder months. Yet that doesn't stop companies from making long line bombers that can be layered and worn in the winter. Well I have yet to invest into a bomber because it's really not an investment. Plus I dislike mixing with the masses. Therefore, I have spotted a varsity jacket hanging in my significant others room for a long while now. This jacket literally was collecting dust because no one was wearing it. I dislike letting items with potential go to waste. When I asked my boyfriend if I could have it, he told me yes. I was ecstatic to finally have the opportunity to style a bomber/varsity jacket. I didn't know who the Denver Broncos were because I don't pay attention to sports. Last week 'm watching ESPN with my boyfriend (who's a athlete, basketball player) All I hear is Denver Broncos in Superbowl. I quickly look up to the screen and the irony was real. Who would have known? Now I knew my InStyle post had to come to life. Denver Broncos good luck tonight !
This post was inspired by the team colors and most importantly my love for orange. This is my way of joining in on the Superbowl festivities. I am only watching the game to witness Queen Beyonce slay us with her illmatic dance moves and performance. We all know that the previous game she performed at the electricity went out. She is known for breaking the internet. What will she do this year?? As we await the game, everyone be safe tonight and may the best team win. Enjoy!
