Happy New Year everyone.
2022 was a year full of many ups and many lows. However, I pray 2023 will be a freeing year for myself and many. Free yourself and your mind from places, spaces, and individuals that no longer serve a purpose in your life. If it does not align with your future self or destiny it is okay to honestly let go and let God. No need to explain why you are doing things the way you are doing them because your rebrand and re-invention of self are personal. One thing I miss about blogging is freeing my mind of so many thoughts that consume me daily and expressing them through a creative outlet.
Tems - Free Mind, is a song that is played on radio stations around the globe but that song couldn’t be more fitting than the season that I am currently in.
How did you spend your New Year's Eve and Day? If you follow me on TikTok you have seen my Christmas post but my New Year’s Eve was also filled with more family time and peaceful nights of love and laughter. We did shed some tears as I do almost every New Year’s Eve. But it is honestly because many do not make it into the New Year and God spared our lives another year, how could we not be grateful?
Please free your mind off things you cannot control and let God do his due diligence. The end of 2022 was filled with havoc some days and blessings in disguise. All I can say is that I am grateful I am alive and well with a beautiful message to share and tell. Enjoy my New Year’s Eve Look below. We traveled to NYC for me to capture photos at the Ritz Carlton. I can’t wait to go back to visit their rooftop restaurant next.
