D’banj - Fall in love is a afrobeat romance hit that will never get old. When I think of parties and events from when I was younger that is the song that comes immediately pops up in my head.

On Septermber 3, 2022 my cousin got married at Millennium Garden in Minnesota. My family and I flew in from the East Coast to visit our uncle and witness the matrimony. The wedding was beautiful and as it was my first time in Minnesota, it definitely surprised me, I don’t know why when I think of Minnesota I think of rural areas and extreme cold. When we arrived it was bright and sunny, warm and definitely welcoming. It reminded me of some parts in New Jersey.

Brooklyn Park is where most Liberians are located and yes from walking outside of the house you hear Liberian music playing in people’s car and Liberian barbecues cooking up everywhere.

Overall I had an amazing time while in Minnesota. The food the vibe and yes I visited Mall of America, it was lovely. I went to the Morphe store and Zara of course to get small trinkets to take back with me.

As I get older my style is constantly changing. I am in a phase of grown and sexy, and I love it! However most days I want to be comfortable, sophisticated, and chic. Playing with silhouettes and styles that are flattering to my body shape is fun. This was my first time doing so much cleavage in a tasteful manner. This dress was a head turner and I’m not mad at Fashion Nova they’ve held me down since 2020.
