The Sisterhood Of Esi & Manaweh

The others insist you go back home being that you are too Americanized. Yet you're telling them all you were born in America. We tell them in unison, our birthplace doesn't make us more of an American and less African than any other African not born in America.

Diana Tawiah and Desiree Dossen embark on this journey of life together. We claim our connection to be more than a friendship, it is a sisterhood. Like minded individuals (Stylistas) stepping into the lion's den. Is the world ready for these two young African Queens?

We want to hear every young queen's story from around the world. As women we share similar stories and experiences. Yet not many care to listen. Our voice next to that of a man in the public eye may not be as powerful. We are here stepping into the ring to knock down the stigmas and stereotypes. Insecurities we all have them. It is the amount of support and and living in spirit and in truth that allows us to reach the unreachable.
