Are Frank Ocean and Solange Knowles Seated At The Same Table?

Tis' the season of my favorite artists to release their storybooks of albums that has me analyzing it all. Four years ago Frank Ocean released Channel Orange and 3 years ago Solange Knowles released Saint Heron. Okay let's have a seat and discuss the glory that these two individuals have bestowed upon us. Their tunes are now apart of my morning and evening rituals.

TAKE A SEAT

"The table is prepared for you."- Frank Ocean (God Speed)

Connecting the dots:

Christ died for our sins. Prior to his crucifixion he ate a supper which would be his last with sinners. The "Last Supper" displays all of the ugly characteristics of human beings. It is when food is involved individuals can be at peace. Food can bring the worst out you or show your best manners.  In present day, as Frank prepares the table, Solange is referencing who can and cannot sit at the table. Rather sharing her thoughts on those seated at the table.

Playing off Of The #YouCantSitWithUs trend

In all actuality you must be a lit, woke, creative, open minded, activist, fearing God to sit at a table with Frank and Solange. We are all flawed in our own ways therefore these two individuals in the public eye have proven themselves worthy to say #YouCantSitWithUS. Not everyone is invited to such a meeting because Frank and Solange are not for everyone. Their carefree spirits and voice in society are too valuable.

This makes me think of God's last super. Not to delve too much into the biblical aspect of it all, however the last super was table filled sinners. In which Christ would then die for all of the sins committed of those at that table and elsewhere. What would be your position at the table? What characteristics do you posses to be seated at a table filled with accredited individuals?

As we compare the and think listen to two masterpieces simultaneously, I pick up on a a lyric that has brought me to ask Are Frank Ocean and Solange Knowles Seated At The Same Table?Second to last on Frank Ocean's Blond Album Godspeed shares and instills faith. As the organs and tempo blares through this angelic sound we mask our ears in "Godspeed" off of Frank Ocean's Blonde. The last supper perhaps, Dinner with a lover? A table full of sin and gin.

Christlike

In my opinion I believe these two intellectual beings are seated at the same table. Flaws persons with a creative genius. They both posses the ability to captivate an audience of fan base with their authenticity. To be real in a an industry that is filled with facades is not a big deal at all. Real. Raw. Uncut. Gems are these records as they bring life to my soul.

"The Glory Is In You." - Master P. Just know that God is in you and if you choose to snooze or even the booze you might lose. Don't sleep on self like God hasn't slept on you. Seek Ye First the Kingdom Of God..... Seek the God In You. Your Worth. Your Value. You Are More Than.

Join the discussion as you pull up a chair at this table, in which Solange Knowles and Frank Ocean are also seated at.
